Presentation Introduction: Technology has been too easily utilized to distract, occupy and entertain children instead of encouraging or teaching them interactive creative play. This project focused on “What creative, interactive and social services are available for children within their own environment?” “How can design help decrease the amount of technology used in young ages?” The aim for this project was to explore, investigate and utilize design techniques that will help promote creative play. Ta Da! is an all-you-can-make mobile service giving 6-12 year old girls the opportunity to be creative with jewellery within their own environment. A range of design outputs were used to encourage parents and their children to book the service.
