SuperCrit 10/5 Report

SuperCrit 10/5
(1) what critique experience you found useful, why
·         I got quite a lot of feedback (about 1 ½ pages full) that included some very good points. When I spoke to Jason, he made me think deeply about what I’m actually trying to achieve. I realised that I wasn’t making my project very clear, and I don’t think even I was sure on what I was trying to do. He got me thinking of alternatives.
·         Two girls at the end of the lesson really changed my insight and helped me switch to another point of view that makes more sense. Doing it this way rules out a few issues we discussed in your critique.
(2) what you intend doing (and showing us) when you return from break
·         I plan on shifting my target audience to 6-12 year olds, and switching the workshop idea to a hiring service for all occasions. I plan on redesigning my logo and website to fit with this new age group and service, as well as adding some new components to go with the service.
(3) a very short summary as a critical opinion of what you saw at #supercrit
·         I thought that most of the projects I saw (including mine) were lacking the context/purpose and took a bit to understand what they were trying to achieve. This helped me open my eyes for my own project and realize it’s not working. However at this time, everyone seems to be doing really nice eye-catching designs that can be improved (added context) over the next few weeks.
