Brief
Brief/Aim:
Trinket is a handmade jewelry and accessory business that also supports
children with cancer and their families. The children are gifted handmade
jewelry by us as well as by supportive customers, and 30% of each product sold
is donated to these children’s families. The rest of the profit goes towards
keeping the business running. For example: a constant supply of beads, other
materials and equipment, website payments, store payments and bills etc
Potential running store
We, Trinket, sell our handmade jewelry and accessories both online and
in store.
Each item is priced accordingly with a tag.
In our store, we offer a fully supplied workshop for customers to make
their own jewelry and accessories.
We supply a booklet that includes items we design along with the prices
and instructions on how to make them.
Our products are:
Wrap Bracelets
Earrings
Angels
Necklaces
Key Chains
Brooches
Hair Pins
Window Charms
Bonsai Trees
Customized name bracelets
If the customer decides to make one of our products, they pay by the usual
selling price.
For example: If they make an angel, the cost
is $15.00.
If the customer chooses to make something else that is not listed, they
pay by the amount of beads. For this option, 1 bead = 20c
Once the customer has finished and is happy with their item(s), they
proceed to the checkout. 30% of what they pay goes towards the families of
children with cancer.
For example: A
customer made or bought a necklace for $10, so $3 goes towards the families of
children with cancer.
Customers also have the choice to either keep their creation or place it
in the box to donate it to a child with cancer. This is not compulsory, the
customer has still made a contribution from above.
