Earring hooks x2
Desired beads x2 sets
2 pieces of wire the same size -3cm extra for each piece

Necklaces

Desired beads
Wire –enough to go around your neck, with 5cm extra
Necklace clasps –either a hook and ring set or a twisting set
Wire cutters
Needle nose pliers

Thread your wire through the ring or one of the twist clasps, and use the pliers to bend the wire into a loop so the wire is secure. Now thread your beads onto the wire, cut the extra length off and then secure the beads on by adding the other end of the clasp by bending the wire into a loop. Good job! You have a beautiful hand crafted necklace!

Wrap Bracelets

Desired beads
Memory Wire- 3 or 4 loops
Optional –Charms for the ends
Wire cutters
Needle nose pliers

Add a charm if desired, and use the pliers to make a ring on one end of the wire ensuring the charm is secure in the ring. Thread your beads onto the wire and then add another charm before cutting the extra length, now bend the end into a ring. And that’s a wrap! Enjoy your handmade wrap bracelet or gift it to someone special!

Name Bracelets

Desired beads
Suede cord –enough to go around your wrist, with 10cm extra
Letter beads
Scissors

Measure 5cm from one end of the cord and tie a knot. Thread your beads in the desired order. Once all your beads are on and you’re happy with it, tie a knot so the beads can’t escape and then check that the bracelet fits before cutting any extra cord. To make the cord look thicker, try tying lots of knots together, but be aware this will make the ends shorter. Tie the bracelet around your wrist in a knot or bow, and now you have a handmade personalized bracelet!

Decorative Angels

Head/Body:
                -30cm thin strong wire
-1 small bead
-1 flower sequin
-2 pearls, one slightly smaller
Skirt:
-10 medium safety pins
-5 beads per safety pin, ranging from small to medium
-1 ½ loops of memory wire
                -20 small beads + 10 slightly bigger
-Small piece of wire, about 10cm
Wings:
-50 tiny beads per wing
                -4 tiny beads per arm
Wire cutters
Pliers

Head/Body:
Fold the 30cm wire in half, on the fold make a loop, twist twice, and then thread on the small bead followed by the flower sequin on both parts of the wire. Thread both parts of the wire through the larger of the two pearls, then split the two wires. Now thread the two wires into the other pearl, towards each other so they come out of the bead on opposite sides. Straighten the wires so you have a wand like structure, and put aside.

Skirt:
Open up the safety pins and place the beads, starting with the largest bead to the smallest. Close the pin and squeeze it tight so the pin doesn’t pop open, do this to the other 9 pins. Bend a small loop at one end of the memory wire and then thread the 30 beads in this pattern: 1 small; 1 large; 1 small; 1 pin. Make sure the pins are threaded by the clasp/opening end and the beads are all facing down. Thread the 10cm wire through the ring ends of the pins, assuring that the beads are all facing down (this is very important). Tighten the wire to make a cone-like shape with the pins, and twist it a couple times underneath.

Head/Body Attachment:
Grab the head and body you put together earlier, and thread and twist the wire underneath the skirt where you twisted the wire in the previous step. Bring the wire back up and through the body bead, bringing the wires towards each other like you did earlier. These will be the wings, and soon the arms.

The Wings:
Thread 50 tiny beads onto the left wire, and then run it through the body bead again, pulling tight. Do this for the other side too.

The Arms:
Thread the 3-4 tiny beads on the left over bits of wire, then bend the ends into tiny loops to secure the beads.

Now bend the wings and arms to the desired shapes, and there you have it! A cute handcrafted Angel! Use it as a home decoration, Christmas tree topper, or a sweet gift.
